Addison Kate is four years old today. What a delight she's been! Don and I were talking today about how fun and happy she's been since the day she was born. She really is such a ray of sunshine. We love her so much! Addie says "I love you" multiple times a day. She is very affectionate with all of us and loves to give hugs and kisses and squeezes and smooches. She requires all of these from each of us before she'll go to bed. She says her hair is ginger, because it doesn't look like red. She knows all of her letters and numbers and she writes her name perfectly. She loves primary and she loves to sing. She watches either Dora and Caillou pretty much every day. Addie loves to help me, no matter what I'm doing. She is a perfectionist and doesn't like it when something is out of place. She adores her baby sister and loves to play with her best friends, Josie and Stella. She is also a superb dancer and whenever someone leaves, she runs out to dance them away on the front porch.
We had a very fun day today. Don and I took her to lunch. She chose Applebee's, followed by a cookie from Paradise. She got a new bike and helmet, a doctor kit, some coloring stuff, a piggy bank, a new outfit, and her very own chocolate bar. What a day! Addie is thrilled to be four and she is ready to conquer the world with all of the stuff that she can do now that she's big. Go Addie!
