Here's a little look back at 2012. What a great and super eventful year it's been! I can't wait to see what 2013 brings. Hopefully it's a calm, wonderful year.
January: Evan went sledding and slipped on the ice. His tooth went through his lip and he had to get several stitches. Addie potty trained and threw her binkies away.
February: Addie turned 3!
March: Kabe turned 6!
April: We found out we would become a family of six. Our due date was December 13th and we were very excited.
May: May and November were our most exciting months. In May Don graduated from the U with his Master of Educational Psychology in Instructional Design. Yay! This was a long time coming and we are so happy to be done. We celebrated with a memorable and fabulous surprise vacation to Disneyland.
June: Don had some changes at work. They dissolved his team and he was the only one left. (Scary!) He got a new boss and a new team. The change was a big one, but it's ended up being just fine.
July: We decided to see if we could rent out our house. It rented within two weeks and we have great renters. We had been thinking about doing this for awhile, but it was quite a risk. It's worked out well.
August: We moved on my birthday to a bigger house. We are renting this house while the owners are in school in Nebraska. It's twice the square footage and gives us a lot more breathing room. We really feel like this was the right move for our family and it's been a great change.
September: Back to school! Evan is in 3rd grade and Kabe is in 1st. Evan turned 9!
October: This was a pretty low-key month, except that sometime around the 26th my water broke. We didn't realize it at the time, but I consider it to be eventful. :)
November: On November 7th I went to the doctor and found out that (surprise!) we'd be having a baby today. Nellie Mae was born at 10:49 that night. This is by far the best thing that 2012 brought. Our sweet baby girl. We adore her and are thankful every day that she is part of our family.
December: Christmastime! Yay! We had a wonderful Christmas full of love and family and good times.
That's the year in a nutshell. What a year! Here's to 2013!
