Applebee's

Kabe loves Applebee's. Whenever we drive past, he asks if we can go to Applebee's. My usual response is, "I don't have money to go there, do you?" He says no, then asks if we can go there someday when we have enough money. This is a regular conversation.

For Kabe's birthday, we let him choose where he wanted to go for dinner. You guessed it. Much to Evan's dismay (he was rooting for McDonald's), Kabe chose Applebee's. On the appointed day, he kept getting a confused look on his face and asking me, "Do we have enough money to go to Applebee's?" He actually made me start to question it after awhile. :) We went and had a marvelous time.

Monday night for FHE, Don gave a lesson on tithing. He got out ten pennies for each of the boys and taught them how much to pay. Kabe was so thrilled with his nine pennies. He excitedly informed us that he was going to save his money for......., yep, Applebee's.
